librg-utils-perl software package provides parsers and format conversion utilities used by (e.g.) profphd, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install librg-utils-perl
librg-utils-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the librg-utils-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep librg-utils-perl *
You will get with librg-utils-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
